How will your purchases be shipped?
As we sell such a wide variety of products and some can be very heavy it is imposible to calculate deliveries charges worldwide. If our store does not provide you with a shipping cost automatically please contact us and we will provide details. For some overseas destinations we pack your order for you and then provide details so you can book the collection. This way you are in control of such factors as insurance cover and speed of delivery.
We aim to dispatched orders as swiftly as possible and this is usually within 24/48 hours but in busy periods it can take up to 7 days for your order to arrive. If your purchase is urgent please contact us to obtain further information before ordering though.
Large items are shipped via Parcel Force or Collect+ but small items are often sent via Royal Mail. We usually make one or two trips a week to the Post Office so there may be a small delay if you order just after a visit.
Please note that the delivery charge covers more that just "postage". It also covers packing materials, labour and handling costs. With small orders the latter two are often at the same level of a large order. After allowing for packing and handling charges we are already subsidising the delivery cost and are therefore not in a position to reduce it further.
Even small items have the associated costs listed above. The cost involved here is more than the postage stamp as it is not the Aga Fairy who packs, documents and queues at the Post Office to give the package to Postman Pat but us. Time is money and the charge we make in no way covers our costs. Aga charge a minimum of £15 even if you order just 1 bolt.
Some small items for example wicks and site glasses can be shipped in Jiffy Bags at a cost of £4.95 but this service is only available where stated or by prior agreement. Please contact us for further information.
At Agafix Spares we are not trying to be the Amazon of Aga spares by shipping vast amounts with subsidised shipping. Our biggest selling point is the pre and after sales service. We also provide free email and telephone advice covering everything from fitting through to using your purchase.
Returns - It is the duty of the Buyer to order the correct part. The Seller shall deliver the part ordered and accepts no responsibility for inaccurate advice supplied by a third party to the Buyer in the identification of the part required whether through commercial recommendation or technical diagnosis. Incorrectly ordered parts may be returned but only if they are in their original condition. Please note there will be a 15% restocking charge.
Any faulty items will be replaced free of charge but only after we have verified the fault.
