Sham Cheek suitable for Rayburn Royal

The sham cheek is the cast iron "wall " opposite the oven that the firebricks sit up against.

 

These often crack and make brick fitting tricky so need replacing. Often the metal wall warps and cracks making brick fitting impossible - and no, it can't be welded!

 

If your cooker has had the bricks neglected and direct heat has damaged the cast iron "wall" in the past it was a scrap cooker, but this part allows the cooker to be reborn! Fitting involves a strip and new bricks. We can offer a complete kit to do the job, from my years of personal experience. As Aga / Rayburn have now discontinued making solid fuel cookers we expect a lot more sales of these parts for reconditioning to be sold. 

 

Secured at the base and front. To fit the cooker needs stripping.
